Let's see how long this lasts. | Tue Oct 06, 2015 10:29 am by Misuke | Hey all!
Been a while since I bothered posting here, since there was absolutely nothing I could do to revive the game from the state in which it was left. That has since changed, and I now have access to the means to better the game, and bring it to the state in which it was originally meant to be played.
I do hope regulars and newbies alike welcome the changes I plan to bring, and continue to …

Ikou Era Apology | Fri Nov 25, 2011 3:59 am by AllSmiles | Hello, faithful Ikou Era players. I am sorry for being so inactive to the production of Ikou Era, me slowing down with updates had affected all of us. I doubt, I can make it up for your patience and your unbreakable loyalty to someone that had been made by my brain. Ikou Era is my first original project and it is one of the most proudest work I had done, this project was the result of my …

| Training system: Well, as I noticed during game play. The training system needs more to it. As you know to train on this game, you have to be a student of a dojo to get stat points. Alright cool Cool. But What about people who decides to be traveling swordsmen? There should be aleast one more system that allows you to gain stat points. Not as fast as as the sparring system, but yeah. I noticed people in the dojo can't catch up if they ethier went on vacation for a few days. When you spar someone stronger than you, then yeah. You'd mostly lose with no stats since you can't hit them.
Showdown:A simple system where you decide that the fight is going on to long. Like saying it's a event" I must help my friend.. Lets end this" Kind of thing. The Showdown=A chance of one of them winning with a papper scissor rock like system. The winner wins. This system=Auto hit, and should do a random number between 90% of damage to 100%. So basically if i were to fight Haru. The unhittable. We barely hit each other. Then we strike in a showdown. I lose, he win. All or nothing.

| Although the traveling swordsmen is kinda cool, people arent gonna be then when their 10 , i'd say they would have to train part of their life in a Dojo or somthing before hand then can icly become that | |

| I mean, I guess the Dojo system is just for a place to train. Like you travel. Get your sword, and on practice time. You train at the dojo, then afterwards you go back to your life. Killing and such or saving. | |

| Well, we're one step ahead of you on the training system, we are contemplating adding methods of training that directly effect your stats. For example, a meathod of training under a waterfall would raise your strength, and so on. SP would still be in, but people would not have to rely so heavily on it.
As for the showdown system... I like the idea, fights should not drag on for hours.... If you were faced against a sword, you WOULD either kill or be killed, it is as simple as that.

| M'hm... I thought it would be a good idea for the rp when doing one on ones. The showdown verb should be like a challege thing. Not a verb that boast you in power which will lead to one of the two defeats. Some showdowns should= A tie. Some= Blood shed And Some=Double knockout leaving ethier both alive, or both dead. I personally think that if you use the Showdown system, one falls down in the end, leaving the other guy to finish the jurb in killing him. They can decide whether or not that live. | |

| Yeah, sounds like a good idea. And btw, Misuke. I'm really excited for the new training systems....That way I don't have to constantly spar just to get stronger. | |

It's funny that you mention that, We've already added one alternate training method. You can buy "Training dummies" from shopkeeper {NPC}, for 300 yen. these dummies will prompt you to press random numbers continually, until the dummy inevitably breaks. However these dummes provide about 2.5x more sp than that of traditional sparring.

Exactly our point, the only possible way for a spar whore to gain money is if an idiot Admin/Rank gave it to them for doing nothing...

| I don't really get the point of the showdown system.. It's just to end battles quicker? You could just forfeit... | |
