Been a while since I bothered posting here, since there was absolutely nothing I could do to revive the game from the state in which it was left. That has since changed, and I now have access to the means to better the game, and bring it to the state in which it was originally meant to be played.

I don't expect every or any idea to be added, these are just things that I think would improve the game.

Countdown verb. After entering an attack, a minute countdown verb ensues and the player can only act legally after it ends or a response is written up.

Fast paced kills- Like in the series and manga, where they got into it and would kill in a few seconds, or if
they person was evenly matched, they would keep dodging eachother, so if you get hit with a blade, you'll lose a limb or get cut in two, seeing as how it is a samurai sword, they aren't to be played with lightly, plus it would be closer to the series.
For this, a players attack would have to be as good as a kill rp, with intent to kill written in.

Hair styles and facial hair- Magistrate Kim hair, Russian hair (samurai from the bridge), traditional samurai hair, samurai balding, high up ponytail.
Facial hairs pretty easy, not much to mention.

Larger, more diverse map. A big part of the series was the travelling, and going threw alot of different areas, and it not being the easiest thing to get from point A to point B, it would interesting for the game to reflect that.

Destructible environment- When to insanely skilled people fight and match one another, they destroy the environment around them, whether it be a house or a forest.

Remove sparring- I know this sounds strange, but as it stands, most people don't even try to rp anymore. I go places, and they ask for spars, don't rp, non rp attack, etc. It's becoming so if you take time to rp, you get weak, for not wanting to spar whore, I find this troublesome, alot of noob powergamers can easily kill the better rpers.

That being said, maybe a system where for everytime you speak in say and roleplay, it adds up to skill points (not saying one thing in say equals on skill point though), but they cant be used until an checks your logs to make sure they are quality rps and not just spam or ooc.

Icons moving while fighting. I think this would be cool, players automatically moving around eachother in a flurry of attacks, moving all over a room.

Also, better outline the rules, and better enforcement. It's getting confusing and chaotic sometimes.

Npc taxis that will take you to desired landmarks for yen.

Yeah, that sparring crap is VERY annoying.

I am a pretty decent RPer myself, as I had been told. But, I am probably one of the weakest in the game. I'm even influencing RP and driving it so that it can evolve. By taking upon students or performing actions. I am getting very mad that most everyone can KO me in 5 hits. Mad Evil or Very Mad Exclamation Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad

We are going to be keeping sparring but we're going to make it limited. <--- You'll find out later. And for the fighting moving icons, we would have to add a new state. A new state would mean making a new state for everything.
